My trip in Australia…

We spent a few days in Sydney with Antoine at the very beginning of our trip together.

Enjoying a glass of wine at nigh in front of the opera House…

Visiting the Governor House and the Botanical Garden, with trees full of bats and cockatoos flying freely…

 Hunting the possum at night to subsist… Ok, maybe not. But Antoine, I was right, it’s not a cat!

And of course eating in the finest Australian restaurants to taste the local food… For our first romantic dinner, I think that it is this day that I fell in love with him… (ooh I’m joking, don’t take it wrong!)

I went back to Sydney with my little and beloved group a few weeks after, for Eastern Week-End. I wanted to organize a chocolate eggs hunt, but they refused…

Rainy arrival and sneaking around chinese market and its cheap fake hair! I should have bought one.

Second day at Manly Beach, with an adventurous trip in ferry… just an advice, NEVER NEVER stay at the front of the boat, you could have an unexpected shower… And have to get almost naked in the laundrymat to get dry!

 First lesson of surf (or to be honest of bodyboard, but still, it was really fun, and I tried Mark’one so it counts!). Funny anecdote, people were recording a movie, and we are probably in… Apparently, a note was claiming “if you don’t want to be filmed, tell us” but we never saw it…And looked pretty ridiculous when people came to film the safety guard telling us very seriously and obviously very naturally… “Go there, you’re beginners it’s less dangerous!”. I wish I could see us on TV, it must be fun.

Then, back to Sydney with nice view on the Opera Housem and a Starbucks on Harbour bridge to rest from this hard haaard day.

The next day, after a night in a not-very-clean-and-actually-not-providing-breakfast-even-if-they-say-so backpacker, we went to Fishwick market to enjoy seafood for our lunch. It was the first time i tried octopuss, and actually, it tastes good.

And we finished this great week-end with a happy singing under the rain…
